About the Down East Educational Partnership


The Purpose of DEEP


is to assist its member school systems attain common goals by sharing resources
to enhance educational endeavors for students, staff, and administrators.  

The Goals of DEEP are

  1. Develop a regional structure for communication between and among school systems;
  2. Create a culture of change, collaboration, and shared leadership across school systems;
  3. Provide a system to optimize available resources, which extend local efforts;
  4. Bring about significant, measurable improvement in the learning of all students;
  5. Build K-12 systems of curriculum, instruction, and assessment within each school system that include the Maine Learning Results.
